- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Blond hair, blue eyes. Dietrich had a Fu Manchu style mustache at the time of his disappearance, long and turned down at the ends. He has a five-inch vertical scar on his abdomen and a scar on his face under his left nostril. His nickname is Kenny.
- Details of Disappearance:
- Dietrich disappeared from his Yukon, Oklahoma home on July 11, 1981. He told his family he was going on a river trip with coworkers, meeting them at a bar (now called Margarita Island) in Oklahoma City. He packed a small bag and left, but never came back. Nobody knows if he actually met his coworkers.
Years later, his car—a brown/black 1978 Ford LTD—was found at the Oklahoma City airport. His wallet, ID, camping gear, and even his wedding ring were still inside. This makes police think he didn’t run away on purpose.
Dietrich was a father of three and worked at Western Electric. The original police file was lost in a flood, but the case was reopened in 2016. To this day, no one knows what happened to him.
