His three of his right fingers are missing and his right hand has multiple scars; he lost his fingers when a firecracker went off in his hand when he was seventeen. Gautier also previously broke his back in a car accident. His hair was long at the time of his disappearance.
Details of Disappearance:
Kenneth Lee Gautier vanished in 1975. He was last seen in Bradenton, Florida, where he was living with roommates. He’d traveled there from his New York home to visit an uncle. He drove a green Karmann Ghia car.

His family was baffled by his disappearance. He’d spoken to his mother shortly before, and everything seemed normal. He’d mentioned a possible trip west, but that explanation didn’t hold up after years of silence. His roommates didn’t know what happened.

In 1981, his parents received two mysterious calls from someone claiming to be Lee (his nickname). The first call came from a payphone in Daytona Beach, the second from inside an Orlando jail. But no one matching his description was in jail, and the caller’s identity remained a mystery.

Gautier’s brother searched for him in Florida, even following up on a possible sighting of a man who looked like him (and had the same missing fingers on his right hand). The search yielded nothing.

To this day, Kenneth Lee Gautier’s disappearance remains a mystery. No one knows what happened to him.
