- Reed disappeared on March 24, 1989, in Fairfield, Connecticut. He left work, stopped for coffee, and drove to his parents’ house. He parked his car, but never went inside. His car was found later, blocking the driveway, with his coffee still in it. There were no signs of a fight. Reed was a responsible person who wouldn’t just disappear, so his vanishing is very strange. Police have never found out what happened to him.
