Details of Disappearance:
Vu disappeared from his home in Clark County, Washington, sometime between midnight and 1 a.m. on April 7, 2007. His family found him missing at 8 a.m.; his bed was empty, and he’d left his favorite jacket and bike behind (his usual way to get around). He’d wandered off before, but never for long, never at night, and never in bad weather – and it was a really stormy night.

Vu lived with his family and was looking forward to a family trip to celebrate his mom’s birthday. His family is sure he wouldn’t have left on his own. Police initially thought he just wandered off, but now believe he was murdered and his body ended up in a landfill near Boardman, Oregon, after being thrown in a dumpster. No one has been arrested.

Vu was friendly and would talk to anyone. He could order food and shop. He liked basketball and video games, and often went to the local Albertson’s grocery store. Because of his disabilities, he was vulnerable. His case is still a mystery.
