- On June 13, 2013, Abercrombie disappeared from Brooksville, Kentucky. She told her family she’d be back but never returned. Her car was found later that day at a park in nearby Johnsville, with her purse and belongings inside, but the car keys were gone. She may have been heading to Cincinnati, Ohio. Her husband was serving in the military at the time.
There are rumors she might have overdosed, and that others hid her body to avoid getting in trouble. Police think something bad happened to her, but her case is still unsolved.
