- Details of Disappearance:
- On New Year’s Day, 2000, Wiley’s mom dropped her off at home in New Boston, Texas, around 8:30 PM. Her mom said Wiley seemed anxious. An hour later, her mom called, but Wiley didn’t answer. Wiley vanished and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Nothing was stolen from her house; her clothes, makeup, and everything else was still there, but her keys were missing. She was supposed to go to her birthday party at her mom’s the next day.
In June 2000, someone found what might have been reddish-brown human hair in Lake Wright Patman. Police searched, but found nothing else. They couldn’t even be sure the hair was human.
The case is still unsolved, and police think something bad happened to Wiley.
