Details of Disappearance:
On April 20, 2018, at 4:30 PM, Palmer disappeared from Fall River Mills, California. She went for a short walk in the woods near her home with her stepdaughter’s dog, Lucy (a gray, black, and white Australian Cattle Dog). She left her phone, wallet, and purse behind, but might have had a beer and glasses with her.

She was only expected to be gone for 15 minutes, but when she didn’t return, her husband started searching. He called neighbors after 45 minutes and the police after two hours. Four days later, Lucy came back home alone, but seemed okay and possibly had been fed.

Palmer was a friendly, active retired nurse who volunteered and spent time with friends. The police considered her disappearance suspicious a month later, and the case remains unsolved.
