Details of Disappearance:
Colton disappeared in 1979. He hitchhiked from Florida to Oklahoma to see family in September, but his father wouldn’t let him stay because he was sick. He was supposed to hitchhike back to Florida, possibly using Interstates 45 and 10, but he never made it. Colton was a Vietnam veteran who sometimes stayed at a VA hospital in Florida and didn’t have a permanent home. He was last seen in Midwest City, Oklahoma, and the police are still looking for him.
