- On October 29, 2012, a man named Ochs vanished. He was last seen at his construction job near the Climax Mine in Colorado. Two weeks later, his car was found empty on Methodist Mountain near Salida, Colorado. His wallet, phone, and medicine were all left in the car, making his disappearance very strange.
Ochs had a history of violence and was a wanted man with two serious felony charges against him. He was also on strict probation, requiring daily calls to his probation officer, living with his parents, and wearing an ankle monitor. Despite being highly intelligent and liking to gamble, he just disappeared.
Police think he might have been murdered, but they haven’t solved the case.
