Details of Disappearance:
On July 4th, 2016, in Troy, Alabama, a woman named Faulkner vanished. She’d recently broken up with her boyfriend, Blane Gralheer Jr., and moved back in with her parents.

That day, her family went to a barbecue, leaving Faulkner at home. Her parents saw her at 5:30 pm, and she posted on Facebook around the same time. Then, she disappeared. Her purse, phone, and tablet were gone too. No one knows if she left willingly or was taken. While she sometimes disappeared for a few days, this was unlike her. All her social media and online accounts have been silent since that last Facebook post.

Two days before her disappearance, Faulkner and Gralheer broke up. She told her parents she was scared of him and said, “If something happens to me, it’s him.” They had a big argument on Facebook the day she disappeared, with Faulkner accusing him of theft and infidelity.

Gralheer claims the breakup was mutual, blaming Faulkner’s substance abuse. He denies her accusations and says he’s not gay. A lie detector test about her disappearance was inconclusive, and he refused a second one. He still talks to Faulkner’s parents.

Faulkner’s mother thinks she’s dead because she believes Faulkner wouldn’t abandon her child. Police consider Gralheer a person of interest, and her parents suspect he knows something, even if he wasn’t directly involved. The case remains unsolved.
