- Distinguishing Characteristics African-American male. Black hair, brown eyes. Davenport had a mustache at the time of his disappearance. He may grow his hair long, or style it in cornrows. He also wears eyeglasses. He has tattoos on his arms and hands, including the word “C-Ban” on his right hand and the letters “CEO” on his left hand. Davenport’s nickname is Turbo. He has previously fractured his ankle/foot, and has ingrown toenails and flared fingernails.
- Details of Disappearance:
- On February 19, 2009, Davenport disappeared. He’d been arguing with his girlfriend, the mother of his unborn child, in Washington, D.C. Police arrived, but Davenport sped off in his silver 2008 Mazda 5 truck (Maryland plates: MWZ-183). The police chased him briefly, but stopped when he crossed into Maryland.
He was never seen again. His truck was later found in Virginia, with no signs of anything suspicious. This is strange because he had a young son with special needs who he saw every day, and his daughter was born the very next day. His girlfriend had previously suffered two miscarriages, and he was excited about this baby. He was a quiet person, and it was completely out of character for him to disappear. He worked as a studio engineer and was pursuing a music career with a local rap group. While he had some minor past legal issues, police don’t believe he ran away on purpose. The case remains a mystery.
