- On the evening of March 21, 1988, Mills left his home on Fairview Street in Lake City, Florida. His neighbor noticed he was missing the next day and reported it to the police. Mills has been gone ever since. Three days later, March 24th, someone found his wallet in a dumpster behind Weggie’s Saloon on Highway 441.
