- Lisa left her abusive husband, Ricky, in 1997 and started a new life with Frank Isley. They lived together in Conway, South Carolina, and even had a quick, illegal wedding. While they seemed happy for a while, Isley was controlling.
In September 1999, Lisa went to the beach with Isley. He left her, and she eventually returned to her parents. Isley then convinced her to meet him at a Myrtle Beach hotel. That was the last time anyone saw Lisa.
Isley told conflicting stories about Lisa leaving the hotel, and he later ran into trouble with the law. Police searched their house and found evidence suggesting foul play – a hole cut in the floor. Despite searches, Lisa’s body was never found. Isley was eventually arrested, but he never revealed what happened to Lisa. Her disappearance remains a mystery.
