- Details of Disappearance:
- On December 27, 1990, Lisa disappeared. She left her two kids with a family member around 6:45 pm in Phoenix, Arizona, planning a short shopping trip to Christown Mall with her estranged husband, Marek. She never returned.
Her green 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier (license plate GRB467) was found abandoned. Years later, in 1998, Marek was arrested. There was blood in his car, and he had scratches on his neck around the time Lisa vanished. He was convicted of manslaughter in 1999, served 14 years in prison, and was then deported to Poland in 2012.
Lisa’s body was never found, but police believe she was murdered because of the evidence against Marek.
