Details of Disappearance:
Lonene Rogers disappeared on a snowy night, January 7, 1981, from her home near Meadville, Pennsylvania. She’d argued with her husband, Clinton, earlier that evening. Clinton didn’t realize she was gone until the next morning. Strangely, Lonene left behind her hearing aid, glasses, medicine, her car, and other important things, as well as her two young children.

Clinton, who is also deaf, didn’t report her missing right away, saying he thought she’d left and would come back. He later gave their daughter up for adoption.

Lonene’s daughter, now an adult, is trying to find out what happened to her mother. She knows her parents had a difficult marriage, and Clinton has a criminal record. She thinks people in the local deaf community might have information. There’s been no sign of Lonene since she vanished, and her case remains a mystery.
