Details of Disappearance:
In April 2015, a woman named Layman disappeared in Colorado Springs. The last time anyone saw her was at a motel on Garden of the Gods Road. She spoke to her father on the phone a week later, but that was the last contact. Her phone was tracked to a location near Nevada Avenue a few weeks after that.

Later, her car – a gold 2002 Kia Spectra – was found abandoned and empty at an apartment complex where she didn’t know anyone. Her blood was in the car.

Layman had a risky lifestyle; she used drugs, worked as an escort, and traveled frequently between states. Even so, disappearing without telling anyone was unusual for her. She had a father and two sons, but her other family members had passed away. Her father offered her a place to live, but she declined.

Police suspect something bad happened to her, and the case remains unsolved.
