- On his 48th birthday, January 12, 1986, Neguelouart was last seen by his boss in Idaho. He vanished without a trace.
Although he got his final paycheck, his bank account was overdrawn just four days later. His car was found abandoned in Nevada, 15 miles north of Las Vegas, with the keys inside and a broken window. The car was in good working order, and there was no sign of a struggle or Neguelouart himself.
Police think someone might have kidnapped him, but because he was from Spain and they haven’t found any family, they haven’t been able to get DNA to help solve the mystery. His disappearance remains a cold case.
