In 1966, 38-year-old Patricia Pietrewicz vanished from Cutchogue, New York. Her bones were discovered in 2018, buried in the basement of a house in nearby Southold. The house used to belong to her boyfriend, William Boken, a former police officer who died in 1982. She had been murdered by a gunshot. DNA confirmed her identity. Boken’s ex-wife knew about the body and told police where to find it, more than 50 years after the crime. No one has been arrested for her death.
