- Distinguishing Characteristics Hispanic female. Blonde hair, light brown eyes. Sarabia’s nickname is Princess. Her married name is Reeves and some agencies refer to her as Lucero Sarabia Reeves. Her hair was in a ponytail at the time of her disappearance.
- Details of Disappearance:
- On Thanksgiving 2004, Sarabia went to a party. After an argument, she left with a man named Richard Chabes. Around 2 a.m., she called her mom and said she was at Chabes’ apartment and he’d drive her home. But she never arrived.
Chabes said she later decided to walk home (about a mile and a half). He moved out of his apartment a few days later. Police found Sarabia’s blood in his apartment, but not enough to say she was killed there, and they cleared him as a suspect. He now lives in Indiana.
Sarabia was separated from her husband but still saw him. She had two sons, and her mother says she wouldn’t have left them. What happened to Sarabia is still a mystery, and foul play is suspected.
