Details of Disappearance:: On June 24, 2005, 12-year-old Luke disappeared in Yellowstone National Park. He was on a Boy Scout camping trip near Gardiner, Montana. While playing near the Yellowstone River, he fell in and was carried away by strong currents. His sneakers were later found, but Luke wasn’t. Despite a big search, he was never found and is believed to have drowned. Luke lived in Helena, Montana, was a good student, enjoyed music and the outdoors, and had two younger brothers and sisters.
