- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Red hair, hazel eyes. Lydia has a brown circular birthmark on the right side of her neck, as shown in the photograph above. She has scars on her right eyebrow and in the center of her forehead, and her ears are pierced. Lydia may dye her hair bright red, brown or black.

- Lydia disappeared from Lexington, Kentucky on October 26, 1997. She was with her boyfriend and brother, and after her brother left, Lydia left too. She called her cousin from her family’s home, but then vanished. Her family reported her missing a few hours later.
Lydia was born prematurely and her twin sister died at birth. Because she sometimes ran away from home in the past, police initially thought she’d done so again. But Lydia usually stayed close to home and never disappeared for long. Now, her case is considered a serious missing person case, and how and why she disappeared is still a mystery.
