- Details of Disappearance:
- On August 27, 2011, 17-year-old Marble disappeared from his home in Brattleboro, Vermont. He was seen letting a stranger into his house around 1:15 pm. He left a note saying he was going for a short walk, but never returned to meet his girlfriend at 4 pm.
Marble was a good student living with foster parents, and everyone who knew him said he wasn’t the type to run away. He was happy and looking forward to his senior year of high school and college. He didn’t have a cell phone.
Soon after he disappeared, Tropical Storm Irene caused major flooding in the area. Because Marble liked hiking, some people think he might have gotten lost or drowned in the flood, but extensive searches found nothing. The mystery man who visited him that day was never found. His disappearance remains a mystery.
