- Details of Disappearance:
- In November 1959, a woman named Krulce vanished from her Pittsburgh apartment. She was last seen having dinner at a restaurant in her building. She worked as a secretary and lived in the apartment during the week, going to her mom’s house on weekends. She never went to work the day after she was last seen and has been missing ever since. Strangely, she left her clothes, jewelry, and her diabetes medication behind.
Another person, a child named Mary Ann Verdecchia, also disappeared from the same apartment building a few years later, but police don’t think the two cases are connected. Some human remains found in Pittsburgh in 2018 were initially thought to be Krulce’s, but tests showed they weren’t. To this day, no one knows what happened to Krulce.
