Details of Disappearance:
Marcos disappeared in San Juan, Puerto Rico in December 1984. A member of a religious group, the House of Prayer for All People, left him at a church.

This group, led by Anna Young (formerly Anna Davidson), was like a cult. They lived together, followed strict rules (like a kosher diet and wearing robes), and gave up all their money to Anna. Anna was very abusive, especially after her husband died. She beat, starved, and tortured members, particularly children, for what she called “sins.” She ordered Marcos’s abandonment because she believed he was evil.

Anna’s cruelty led to serious consequences. She severely burned a 12-year-old with bleach and was convicted of child abuse, but escaped before sentencing. Years later, her daughter Joy revealed that Anna had murdered a toddler, Emon Harper, and possibly Anna’s stepdaughter, Catherine Davidson. Investigations also linked Anna to the death of Katonya Jackson, a young girl with epilepsy whose medication Anna withheld.

Anna was eventually charged with Emon’s murder and Katonya’s manslaughter. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 30 years in prison but died a month later. Despite her crimes, Marcos and Catherine’s disappearances remain unsolved.
