- Rutledge disappeared from his Nashville, Tennessee apartment on June 8, 1998. He talked to his ex-girlfriend around 1:30 PM that day, but then vanished. She couldn’t reach him after that. He’d just been home to Michigan for Memorial Day a few days earlier and seemed fine. Nobody has heard from him since.
