- On January 17, 2020, a woman named Becker was last seen buying bananas at a Publix grocery store in Sebring, Florida. She was driving a blue 2018 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck (Ohio plates: HOB 214). She disappeared without a trace.
A month later, police learned her truck had been seen entering the Avon Park Bombing Range that night. They found her truck submerged in the Kissimmee River on the range. The truck was in gear, with windows down, suggesting she might have been driving when it went into the water. Becker wasn’t in the truck, and despite searching, her body was never found. Police don’t think anyone harmed her, but they believe she’s likely dead. The case remains unsolved.
