- Details of Disappearance:
- On December 5, 2001, Dabney, a woman with Alzheimer’s disease, got lost at the Dallas airport. She and her husband were traveling from Indiana to California and had a stop in Dallas. Someone was supposed to help them get to their next flight, but Dabney wandered away. Her family sued the airline, saying they were careless, and they settled the lawsuit.
Years later, in November 2007, her remains were found near Lewisville Lake. Tests showed she had been murdered; she was hit hard on the head. Police are still trying to find out who did it and haven’t made any arrests.
