- In Phoenix, Arizona, in October 1990, Maria advertised for a babysitting job on the radio. A man she didn’t know called and picked her up the next day. Shortly after, Maria called her parents to ask for a ride home, but the phone call got cut off before she could tell them where she was. Maria disappeared and has never been found. The man who picked her up has also never been identified.
