- Andrus disappeared in August 1987. She was upset after a fight and drove away from Davis, California. Nobody has heard from her since.
A month later, her car was found abandoned in a forest near the Klamath River in Northern California. Some people saw her car there as early as the day she disappeared, and a store owner even talked to her a few days later. She asked about nearby campsites.
Police searched the area, but they couldn’t find her. Because of the strange circumstances, her disappearance is considered suspicious, and the case is still unsolved.
