- In 1989, a woman named McCoy disappeared after a night out in Daytona Beach, Florida. She’d gone there from her Jacksonville home with a friend, stayed at a Marriott hotel, and even participated in a bikini contest at a bar. Around 3:30 AM, she took a limousine back to Jacksonville. The limo driver, who’s now in jail for a different crime, says he dropped her off, but no one has seen or heard from McCoy since. She left behind her car and a young son, and had just started a new job. Because there’s no proof she ever returned to Jacksonville, police think something bad happened to her.
