Details of Disappearance:
On September 16, 2011, Robert Bosworth disappeared. He was at a bike event in Riddle, Oregon, and was last seen walking between Riddle and Canyonville around 11:00-11:30 pm. He said he was going to his tent but never made it.

That day, he seemed unusually tired and quiet. He didn’t know the area well and left behind his bike, wallet, ID, and credit cards. He only had about $40 and a dead iPhone 4 with him. He may have also had a small black bag.

Bosworth was a mapmaker in Portland, Oregon, and had a happy life with his wife and two daughters. They were about to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. Because he was acting strangely and seemed unwell, there are concerns he might have amnesia and might try to go back to New York, where he lived in the 1980s.

The police have not found him, and his disappearance remains a mystery.
