- Marvin disappeared in San Francisco. He was last seen on October 6, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. His partner didn’t notice he was gone until 2:30 a.m. the next day. The partner initially thought Marvin was with a friend, but reported him missing on October 8th.
Two days later, Marvin’s black 2009 BMW (license plate 6HKC918) was found abandoned at Baker Beach. His wallet, money, and keys were still in the car, but Marvin was nowhere to be found. The driver’s seat was adjusted for someone taller than Marvin, suggesting someone else might have driven the car last.
Before he disappeared, Marvin had been to rehab in Arizona for mental health issues and an addiction to OxyContin. He seemed better afterward, but was unhappy about a pay cut at work.
No one knows what happened to Marvin, and his case is still unsolved.
