- In Tucson, Arizona, on September 12, 2010, a woman named McElvaine disappeared from her home. She left behind two very young children and no explanation for her leaving. This was unusual for her; she was a loving mother.
A few days later, her car was found abandoned far away, with the keys in it and her work ID. Before she vanished, she had recently moved back in with her boyfriend. He was later arrested for other crimes and is still in jail.
McElvaine’s family believes someone harmed her. The case is unsolved.
