Details of Disappearance:
Marsha disappeared from her home in Cleveland, Tennessee, sometime between late May and early June 2009. Her husband, Donnie, said she left him, but a friend reported her missing months later in November. Police searched their home but found nothing.

Marsha’s RV was missing, too. It wasn’t found until November 2012, on Donnie’s family’s property. Donnie was arrested for hiding the RV, but then also charged with Marsha’s murder in 2013. The murder charges were dropped twice for lack of evidence, but could be brought back if new evidence is found.

Marsha was a writer, worked at Lee University, and loved the outdoors. She had no children and wasn’t close to her family, so her disappearance went unnoticed for months. Because of suspicious circumstances surrounding her disappearance and the RV, police believe she was likely murdered, even though her body has never been found.
