- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Brown hair, brown eyes. Shahan wears thick eyeglasses. He has a horseshoe-shaped birthmark on his thigh.
- Details of Disappearance:
- Shahan disappeared around the end of 1969 or the beginning of 1970. He last talked to his sister in El Cajon, California, saying he was looking for a boat job in Ventura or Santa Barbara. He vanished after that and never contacted his family again. Someone in the family contacted the police, but we don’t know if they officially reported him missing at the time. Shahan was legally declared dead in 2000, and his sister filed a missing person report in 2003. No one knows what happened to him.
