Seventy percent of her body is scarred from previous burns, which required skin grafts. She is supposed to wear prescription eyeglasses, but doesn’t. Her ears are pierced.

- Smith was last seen in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on March 4, 2017. Three days earlier, on March 1st, she had a fight with her sister and left her sister’s house. She said she was going to a motel (Motel 6, now called the Rodeway Inn) on North Patterson Avenue. She took all her clothes with her in two trash bags.
