- On December 26, 1984, Matthew left his home in Tacoma, Washington, driving a gold 1974 Plymouth Duster (license plate BUX-160). He said he was going to Portland, Oregon, but he was never seen or heard from again.
Matthew was a high school student, played baseball, and worked part-time at a Texaco gas station. Police thought he ran away, but it’s very strange for someone to disappear completely for so long. No one knows exactly what happened to him.
