- Melissa Brainard-Barnes vanished from Norwich, Connecticut in July 2007. Three years later, in January 2010, her body was discovered on Gilgo Beach in Long Island, New York. She was found with three other young women who had also gone missing. Police think all four women were murdered by the same person – a serial killer.
