Details of Disappearance:
Bieberbach vanished from Empire, Alabama on March 6, 2018. Her sister didn’t report her missing until May 20th because they weren’t close and Bieberbach often didn’t keep in touch. Her last social media post was cryptic: “3,2,1 blast off to the moon.”

Police think she might have gotten a ride to buy heroin. One possibility is she overdosed, and whoever was with her hid her body to avoid getting in trouble. She’d been sober for a while but relapsed after her daughter died of cancer. She planned to go to rehab.

She left behind a young son. She also had some legal trouble – outstanding warrants – so she might be hiding from the police. She has connections to several Alabama towns (Jasper, Cordova, Attalla) and has lived in California, Texas, and New Jersey.

There’s not much information about what happened to her.
