Details of Disappearance:
Mengqi went missing in Columbia, Missouri on October 8, 2019. Her husband, Joseph Elledge, was arrested and charged with her murder in February 2020. Police think he killed her by strangling or suffocating her. Mengqi’s body was later discovered by a hiker in March 2021 at Rock Bridge State Park. Joseph is still waiting for his trial.
