- On April 3, 1996, a man named Avicolli left his Philadelphia home in his Buick and vanished. He was connected to the Philadelphia/South Jersey Mafia. A former mob boss, Ralph Natale, later claimed Avicolli was murdered because of an affair and buried in northern New Jersey. However, Natale had a history of exaggerating, so police aren’t sure if his story is true. Avicolli’s car was never found, and his disappearance remains a mystery, but police suspect he was killed.
