- Cloer vanished from his Columbia, South Carolina home on May 23, 2004. Four years later, in September 2008, his body was discovered in the woods nearby. Police couldn’t figure out exactly how he died, but they found a pill bottle near his remains. They don’t think anyone murdered him.
