Details of Disappearance:: Retired Army Colonel Camilletti disappeared in May 2011. He was last seen at home in Virginia on May 22nd, but his brother didn’t report him missing until June 12th. Colonel Camilletti loved hiking, and often went on long trips without telling anyone. Police think he went to the Cranberry Wilderness, a huge (47,000 acre!) area, on May 23rd. They found his car nearby with a note saying he planned a hike from May 23rd to 27th. Despite a big search, he was never found. The case is still a mystery.
