- On July 20, 1975, Michael called his parents from a phone booth in El Paso, Texas. He said his car broke down and he’d be home late. That was the last anyone heard from him.
Two days later, his car was found abandoned in the New Mexico desert. Michael wasn’t there. Police think something bad might have happened to him, and they’re still trying to figure out what. The case is unsolved.
