Details of Disappearance:
In October 1996, John Malinoski went to a conference in Pennsylvania. Afterward, he stayed at a motel. The next day, he left, and his rental car was found at the entrance to a hiking area in the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. He’s never been seen since.

Police found no clues of foul play. It seemed like he went for a hike, something he liked to do, but searches found nothing.

Malinoski was divorced, lived with a roommate, and wasn’t dating. He wanted to move closer to his son who lived with his ex-wife. His family says he was a careful, thoughtful person who wasn’t suicidal and had no reason to disappear. He was a vegetarian, didn’t do drugs, and rarely drank. His credit cards and ID haven’t been used since he vanished. The case is still a mystery.
