Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Light brown hair, brown eyes. Michelle goes by the nickname Angie, and many accounts refer to her by that name. She wears contact lenses or eyeglasses with round, gold wire frames. Her tongue and ears are pierced and she has small surgical scars on each side of her hip. Angie has three tattoos: a jagged barbed-wire fence in black ink around her right wrist, a green frog on her left shoulder blade, and the word “obey” in black cryptic writing elsewhere on her body.
Details of Disappearance:
Angie Yarnell disappeared from her Missouri home on October 25, 2003. Her husband, Michael, said she left unexpectedly, claiming she went to visit her mother. But Angie never arrived, and her mother reported her missing a week later.

Two weeks after Angie vanished, her mother received a strange postcard supposedly from Angie, saying she was going to Texas. The handwriting wasn’t Angie’s, and the family didn’t know anyone named Gary.

Suspicion fell on Michael. He disappeared for a while, but was eventually found and arrested. He confessed to writing the postcard to mislead police. He then confessed to pushing Angie off their deck during an argument, causing her death. He said he dumped her body in the Lake of the Ozarks. Despite searches, her body was never found.

Michael’s story didn’t quite add up—he said the deck was 10 feet high, but it was only 4 feet. He pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and served seven years in prison.

Angie’s loved ones believe she wouldn’t have left without saying goodbye, especially since she was close to her ill mother and left behind her belongings and beloved dogs. The circumstances strongly suggest foul play.
