- On July 22, 2006, a woman named Rawls vanished from her home in Wichita, Kansas. Police found blood and signs of a fight at her house. A year later, in April 2007, Buddy Jones was arrested and accused of killing her, even though they didn’t know each other, and nobody knows why he did it. Rawls’s body wasn’t found until September 2008, near a golf course. Jones has chosen to have a judge, not a jury, decide his case, and is waiting for that trial.
