Details of Disappearance:

Franquemont disappeared in Sunnyvale, California on March 9, 2013. Her last phone call was March 12th, and she’s never been seen or heard from since. Police think she was murdered, and her boyfriend, Glen Griggs, is the prime suspect.

Franquemont moved in with Griggs in January 2013. When police asked him about her disappearance in March, he lied, saying she was working. He continued to lie, even though police were watching him.

Griggs is also suspected in the deaths of three other girlfriends. These women all died after drinking heavily, and their deaths were originally ruled alcohol-related. Only after a third death did police suspect murder.

Griggs had a criminal record, including helping bury a murdered six-year-old boy. In June 2014, he was shot and killed by police during a search related to Franquemont’s case. He threatened them with a weapon.

Even though Griggs is dead, Franquemont’s case is still unsolved. Police are now focusing on finding her remains.
