- Details of Disappearance:
- Nancy disappeared from her Paradise, California home in 1983. She lived there with her boyfriend Jeff, and their two young children, Omar and Yana. The last time anyone heard from Nancy was Halloween night, when she didn’t show up to a friend’s party. Her brother reported her missing in December.
Jeff claimed to have found blood in the house and Nancy gone. Strangely, on Nancy’s birthday, he took the children and fled to Hawaii. He later returned, leaving the kids with relatives. Omar was adopted and changed his name.
As an adult, Omar remembered seeing Jeff shoot Nancy. Police found a bullet in the bathroom, backing up Omar’s story. Jeff died by suicide a few years later, and the case went cold. Omar thinks Nancy’s body might be buried in Butte County or down a mine shaft. To this day, no one knows what happened to Nancy.
