- Details of Disappearance:
- Meither, from Kentucky, vanished during a Florida vacation with her husband in Panama City Beach on September 28, 2018. They were at Sunbird Condominiums. That evening, they watched the sunset on the beach. Around 10 pm, her husband went back to their condo, leaving Meither behind. She never returned.
Witnesses saw someone who looked like Meither standing in the ocean, about 100 feet from the shore, at sunset. Her husband didn’t notice she was gone until later that night. Her beach chair was still there, but her drink was missing. Her son said she wasn’t the type to wander off or swim alone. Police think she might have drowned.
